Tadatoon 2025: A Year of Community, Collaboration, and Learning

In 2025, Tadatoon continued to grow not only as a digital storytelling platform, but as a community-centered initiative at the intersection of education, innovation, and emotional learning.

This year marked an important shift for us — from focusing primarily on digital content to actively engaging with educators, families, and innovation ecosystems through conversations, workshops, and collaborative experiences.

Creating TadaTalk: Storytelling as Dialogue

One of the key milestones of 2025 was the creation of TadaTalk — a space designed for story-centered dialogue rather than one-way content delivery.

Through TadaTalk, we explored how stories can become starting points for conversation, reflection, and shared learning among children, parents, and educators. TadaTalk sessions emphasized listening, emotional awareness, and meaningful interaction, reinforcing our belief that storytelling is most powerful when it is lived and discussed together.

Collaborating with Educators Across Regions

Throughout the year, Tadatoon worked alongside educators from different regions and educational contexts, including Canada, the United States, and Iran.

These collaborations informed both our storytelling approach and our educational design decisions. By learning directly from teachers’ classroom experiences and cultural perspectives, we were able to co-create story-based experiences that are more inclusive, relevant, and grounded in real learning environments.

Interactive Workshops for Families and Children

In 2025, TadaTalk expanded beyond conversations into interactive workshops for families and children. These sessions focused on hands-on storytelling, emotional expression, and shared participation between adults and children.

The workshops reinforced a core principle of Tadatoon: learning happens best when families experience it together, not when it is passively consumed.

Presence in Innovation and Education Ecosystems

Tadatoon actively participated in global and local innovation spaces throughout the year, including events and forums such as Web Summit, Elevate Festival, and the Toronto Global Forum.

In addition, we took part in international startup and innovation conferences, small business and entrepreneurship events, and Toronto-based innovation forums. These experiences allowed us to exchange ideas, learn from diverse founders and educators, and situate storytelling within broader conversations about technology, education, and social impact.

AI & Education Conversations

As part of the Global Startups ecosystem, Tadatoon participated in AI & Education Round Table discussions, contributing to conversations about responsible innovation, child-centered design, and the role of AI in learning.

These discussions helped shape our ongoing commitment to building technology that supports emotional development, creativity, and ethical use of AI in educational contexts.

Pitching, Learning, and Growing

In 2025, Tadatoon also participated in the Global Startups Pitch Deck Competition, using the opportunity to refine our narrative, clarify our impact, and learn from mentors and peers within the startup ecosystem. We further strengthened our foundation through structured learning experiences such as the Hamilton–Niagara Bootcamp, focusing on sustainable growth, innovation readiness, and long-term vision.

Partnerships and Exploration

This year also marked the beginning of a collaborative exploration with Class Studio, where we examined new ways to bring interactive storytelling into classroom and learning environments.

These early-stage collaborations reflect our approach to innovation: testing ideas carefully, learning from partners, and building with intention rather than rushing to scale.

Sharing Stories Beyond the Platform

Alongside our in-person and community-based work, Tadatoon created and shared over 200 educational content pieces across social media platforms in 2025.

These stories, activities, and reflections allowed us to extend our reach, connect with families globally, and continue experimenting with how storytelling can support emotional and educational growth in everyday life.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we move into 2026, Tadatoon is preparing to introduce a new version of the platform, shaped by everything we learned through community engagement, educator collaboration, and real-world experimentation in 2025.

At the same time, we plan to expand TadaTalk workshops, continuing to create spaces where stories are not only told, but shared, discussed, and lived — together.

Watch our 2025 Recap and join us as we build the next chapter of Tadatoon in 2026.
